Roofing Products Industry Professional to Spearhead Cosella-Dörken's North American Expansion

Beamsville, Ont. (PRWEB) April 22, 2008 -- Peter Barrett, a 20-year veteran of the roofing products market, has joined Cosella-Dörken as National Product Manager. In this new position, Peter will direct the North American introduction of advanced new building products and technologies developed by Cosella-Dörken, Beamsville, ON, and Dörken, Germany.

Peter brings a proven track record in creating and growing new product lines in the building materials industry, securing large contracts in the U.S. and Canada including large sports facilities and waterproofing projects for demanding users such as the Toronto Transit Commission (Canada's largest transit authority). Peter also has extensive relationships with contractors, architects and distributors in North America and overseas.

Most recently Peter was employed at roofing and building envelope manufacturer Lexcan/Lexor as sales manager, and prior to that held sales and marketing roles concentrating on building envelope products with W.R. Meadows of Canada, Canusa-CPS and W.R. Grace. Peter, who has his MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a member of numerous professional associations including Construction Specifications Canada, the Ontario Building Envelope Council and the Sealant and Waterproofing Association.
